It's that time of year again, the annual MOCA Hom Teal Strides Ovarian Cancer Walk! As you may know, I've been participating in this event since 2005. For over a decade, I walked in memory of my grandmother, whom we lost to stage 4 ovarian cancer back in 2005. Since 2016, I started walking as a survivor myself. I walk every year to not only help raise awareness but also to help raise funds in hopes of one day finding a cure for this cancer known as the silent killer!
