I feel so grateful to be an ovarian cancer survivor for 14 yrs. and want to continue our support for MOCA (Minnesota Ovarian Cancer Alliance) by participating in the MOCA TEAL STRIDES WALK on Sat, Sept.10th at Rosland Park in Edina at 10:30 am. We organized TEAM EDIE on the MOCA website so that you have the opportunity to join us for a short, slow walk ( 2K). We appreciate your support thru donations to this fine organization whether you walk with us or "sleep walk" ( just donate).
The donations received will be given to researchers at the U of MN or Mayo Clinic so they can continue their work to find an accurate test for early detection of ovarian cancer so that more women can survive this disease when diagnosed at early stages. We will have our Edie's Team table set up next to the children's playground on the blacktop under a tree near the public bathroomw ( usual place) at 9:30 am. for schmoozing with bagels and coffee.
