Our team page is created by the family of Katie Bebinger who passed away from stage 3C ovarian cancer at the age of 32 just over two years ago.

Katie wasn't just a sister, a daughter, an aunt, a friend. Katie was fearless, courageous, outgoing, confident and so much more. She had so much taken from her because of this disease.

MOCA was a great light for Katie. Participating in the walks each year gave her a sense of community that our family couldn't provide. In 2021 Katie's sisters nominated her for the MOCA dream award, which Katie was able to use toward a family trip to Hawaii. Seeing her so happy in paradise despite where she was at health-wise is a blessing we will cherish always.

Katie may have lost her fight, but the war isn't over. We will continue to honor her by having this team every year to hopefully one day see a cure. No one else should have to lose a loved one to this.
