Did you know?

• The American Cancer Society estimates that in the United States this year about 19,680 women will receive a new diagnosis of ovarian cancer and about 12,740 women will die from ovarian cancer.
• While the 11th most common cancer among women, ovarian cancer is the fifth leading cause of cancer-related death among women.
• Ovarian cancer is the deadliest of gynecologic cancers.
• There is no early detection test for ovarian cancer. (A PAP test does not detect ovarian cancer.)
