My sister, Sylvia Ahr, was diagnosed with ovarian cancer in 2007 and lost the battle in 2010. When she was diagnosed, I did not know anything about ovarian cancer. Since her diaganosis I have learned a lot. For one, it is known as the "silent cancer" and the symptoms often go undiagnosed, Since Sylvia passed away, I beccame aware of the Minnesota Ovarian Cancer Alliance (MOCA) and have participate in their fundraiser every September since. Their organization continues to do research to find a cure and also supports victims and their families. So this year I reach out to you and ask you to consider making a donation and/or come out and walk with the AHR Monarch Team on Sepbember 7th at Roslind Park in Edina, Minnesota in support of MOCA.
