Hello Friends and Family,

Once again I am raising funds for Denver Children’s Advocacy Center (DCAC) and I hope you will join me.  DCAC provides crucial services to the most vulnerable members of OUR community – children.  With the help of donors like you, we coordinate a multi-disciplinary team of first responders when child abuse is reported.  We then go on to provide comprehensive counseling to these children and their non-offending family members.  We know that child victims that receive effective therapy are much less likely to abuse drugs, become involved in criminal activity, suffer from on-going mental health disorders or become further victims of domestic abuse.  THEY ARE MORE LIKELY TO BECOME HAPPY, WELL-ADJUSTED, CONTRIBUTING MEMBERS OF OUR COMMUNITY.

In addition to responding to child abuse, DCAC also helps to prevent child abuse by collaborating with our schools to provide age-appropriate education and training to young students, teachers and parents.
