HOPE NEEDS YOUR HELP!
UPDATE 3/10/19: Hope successfully made it through a lengthy surgery on Friday. Unfortunately, her injuries are more severe than our medical team had originally anticipated. Her skin is still in the “sloughing” process, which can last up to 12 days after an injury. This means she can still continue to decline over the next week. She is receiving care from our staff vet, 24 hours a day. Please keep Hope in your thoughts as she fights to recover from this horrible tragedy.
Thank you to everyone who has shared Hopes story and donated to her ongoing care. We are anticipating additional surgeries and increased staff time to help her heal.
UPDATE: We are so thankful for all of the support we've received to help Hope heal from the awful abuse she endured. With your support, we'll be able to give her any unforseen care she may require. We'll also be able to help more animals like her, who are healing from their own physical and emotional traumas. With your help, they'll get to live the loved and healthy lives they deserve. From the bottoms of our hearts -- thank you!
Hope was found by a good samaritan in a garbage bag, with chemical burns covering her tiny body. At just 2 months old, she has already known so much fear, pain, and suffering. Safe in Brother Wolf’s care, she will finally know love and compassion for perhaps the first time in her life.
Hope’s treatment will include pain medication, antibiotics, topical ointments, wound flushes, and a surgery later this week to remove necrotic tissue from her ear and tongue. Please make a donation today to help give Hope the care she needs to heal and live the happy life she deserves. Thank you for saving her life!
*Funds raised above our goal will allow us to rescue and care for even more animals.
