HRI continues to hold the frontline against homelessness but we have more work to do, and we need your help!   

In 2025, HRI served over 3,500 Kalamazoo County individuals with coordinated assessment services which are designed to ensure that all people experiencing homelessness or a housing crisis have fair and equal access to housing assistance. Also, HRI provided over 1 million dollars in financial assistance for back rent, rental subsidies and utility payments.

Join us for a 5K Walk to End Homelessness that will take you from Homer Stryker Field along the Kalamazoo River Valley Trail through Downtown Kalamazoo to HRI's Rickman House and back to Homer Stryker Field.

We gather at 9 AM and start walking at 10 AM

Crowd friendly, leashed dogs are welcome.

HRI WILL NOT BE HOSTING WALK TEAMS THIS YEAR!

To register as a Walker, please click the "Click Here to Register for the Walk!" button directly above. You will be able to register yourself and any additional Walkers for the walk, and will be able to make a donation during your registration if you would like. You are not required to donate to attend the 5K Walk.

You will also be able to create a fundraising page for any Walkers you're registering. This will provide you with a link to share so other people can donate towards your fundraising page!

To donate to HRI without registering for the 5K Walk, please click the "Donate Now" button on the right under the thermometer. You will be able to make a donation towards a specific Walker, on behalf of yourself, another, or a corporation.
