September is Hunger Action Month, a time dedicated to raising awareness of the hunger crisis nationwide. In South Florida approximately one million individuals face hunger and have no idea where the next meal is coming from. This includes nearly 500,000 children and seniors. Food shouldn’t be an impossible choice. Feeding South Florida works to make food available and accessible to those who need it most.
