After being a foster parent I witnessed first hand children that were hungry and the effects it created in their lives. There was a set of twins eating their bedding because they were so hungry, a two year old that got a hernia from carrying milk and hiding it in a closet to make sure he had milk and the list goes on. To this day some of these children are now adults that have to be told to stop eating so they don't vomit.
I am not just fund raising but I am an active member in this food pantry to reach as many people in need that I can. It's not easy but it is very rewarding.
