The Jewish Relief Agency (JRA) is an organization that I have been involved with since I was 12 years old! I completed my Bat Mitzvah project with them in 2005, participated in the inaugural Leadership Academy class in 2017, and continue to volunteer as a Yellowcapper as often as possible.
Join Me in Ensuring No One Goes Hungry at Home.
Since its founding in 2000, JRA has been a lifeline for thousands of families in the Greater Philadelphia area. With the help of hundreds of volunteers, we deliver essential food, toiletries, and other necessities to 6,500 neighbors in need every month. Our mission is simple: no one should go hungry. But in a region where 23% of residents live in deep poverty, many families face impossible choices between feeding their loved ones and meeting other basic needs.
These families are not just statistics—they are parents, children, and seniors who rely on JRA for food and support. With rising food costs and cuts to social services, the need for our services is growing, and we are rising to meet that challenge.
That’s why I’m asking for your help today.
The Hungry At Home campaign replaces our usual annual event, and every dollar donated will go directly to supporting families in need. This is a chance for us to come together and make a real difference in the lives of our neighbors. Your donation ensures that families continue to receive the food and resources they need to live with dignity.
Together, we can continue JRA’s legacy of compassion and expand our reach to more families in need. No gift is too small, and every contribution matters.
Please donate generously today, and help us spread the word about this crucial mission. Together, we can make sure that no one in our community has to go to bed hungry.
Thank you for your support!
