I’m thrilled to be on the Board of Directors for the Interstitial Cystitis Association (ICA)! The ICA advocates for research dedicated to the discovery of a cure and better treatments, raises awareness, and serves as a central hub for the healthcare providers, researchers, and millions of patients who live with interstitial cystitis/bladder pain syndrome (IC/BPS), a condition characterized by chronic pelvic and bladder pain and urinary urgency and frequency. 

I am currently fighting this medical condition. In February 2024, I was diagnosed with IC, and since then I’ve undergone numerous treatments, including multiple medications, cystoscopies with hydrodistention, Botox, pelvic floor physical therapy, bladder instillations, intermittent catheterization, and most recently, a nerve stimulator.
