Poverty Where You Least Expect It

2022 marks the third year of living through a global pandemic and all the impacts it has had on the lives of Americans. Many families are living paycheck to paycheck, and rising inflation means most are struggling to keep up with the rising cost of food, gas, housing, and so much more.

Nationwide, 66% of US households are having difficulty making ends meet and children in Black and Hispanic families are twice as likely as white children to face hunger in America. 

When disaster strikes, like brutal winter weather, tornadoes, wildfires, or man-made tragedies, the need for urgent aid and support grows exponentially, especially for families already vulnerable to poverty and suffering.

The Power of YOU

The All-Powerful, Allah (SWT), has put power and opportunity in your hands and in your heart to give charity through IRUSA, and to support efforts for our sisters and brothers in need. Here are just some of the ways your donations through IRUSA can be powerful for this project:

$75 can provide food aid for a family

$250 can provide our Disaster Management Team with the resources they need to respond swiftly during emergencies

$1,000 can support a free health clinic

When you’re trying to decide on a fundraising goal, just remember: Every donation counts! Every single donation that comes through your effort, whether small or large, means another person will be served in greater ways. So aim high, and keep pushing.
