Make it Tangible: Let people know how many students will learn how to get a job, manage their money, or start a business for different gift amounts:
- $77 gives one student the opportunity to participate in JA Finance Park
- $100 covers the cost of one kit of classroom materials
- $300 gives one student the opportunity to participate in JA’s summer camp
- $2,000 gives a class of 25 students the opportunity to participate in JA
Engage Management: The highest fundraising team would be motivated to earn the following:
- Lunch with a Leader
- Tickets in the corporate suite at an event or concert
- VIP office parking pass (for those with large lots, you can offer a reserved spot close to the building!)
- Breakfast burritos for team/office
- Pie your boss in the face
- Boss must sing “Happy Birthday” to everyone throughout the year on Zoom calls
Make it Interactive!
- Teach a class or give lessons to your colleagues about something you are good at
- Play office guessing games (how much candy is in the jar, office trivia, etc.)
- Charge colleagues to participate in office activities designed around your team
Food for Thought: Bring out your inner chef to raise money and awareness for your team through:
- Bake Sale
- Chili Cook-Off
- Dip Party
- Put together a list of favorite restaurants, mountain resorts, travel destinations, recipes, etc., and sell
- Host a themed party/sell event-themed food, especially great for JA Bowl-A-Thons around holidays (Halloween goodies, Valentine's cookies, etc.)
Every Cent Counts:
- Set out donation jars in break rooms
- Share matching ideas with outside contributors
