As I am approaching my 37th year of association with Junior Achievement, (stunning as I am only 41 J) I have seen firsthand the impact the organization is making on the lives of young people. However my greatest joy comes when I get to teach MJ’s class. What continues to motivate me after all these years? I see in MJ’s classes what our programs accomplish, and we have validated proof that our programs change young people lives. Junior Achievement empowers young people to own their economic success. We give them hope, the knowledge, and the tools that they need so they can succeed in a global economy.
Each year, as many of you know I also volunteer to raise the needed money to expand JA’s reach in Southern Colorado. Why, so more young people can benefit from the experience that MJ and thousands of other students have had. It is for this reason that I am reaching out to you today.
