Junior Achievement is a great organization that aligns closely with my personal values.  Their purpose has been to educate and inspire young people to value free enterprise and understand business and economics to improve the quality of their lives.  I rememeber being involved in JA in elementary school and I feel that the skills I learned helped along road that I have forged in both my professional and personal life.

During the 2017-2018 school year, Junior Achievement of Southern Colorado had over 600 business professionals and community members who partnered with a local teacher to present Junior Achievement's business, economics, financial literacy and entrepreneurial education programs to more than 16,500 K-12 students. These volunteers used their personal experiences to make the Junior Achievement curricula practical and realistic and provide children with positive adult role models.
