Junior Achievement is a great organization: its goal is to educate kids about financial literacy and entrepreneurship, and ready them to compete in a global marketplace when they grow up.

Last Fall, I was able to deliver a session to a local classroom, and it was a fun, extremely rewarding experience. In one lesson, I taught a classroom of 2nd graders how to run a doughnut shop (and make our own variations!); in another, we went over the electoral process and held a mock election.
