As I reflect back on my life, there's no memory that shines as brightly as the times that I donated US dollars to a good cause...
...besides the birth of my son, the day I married my wife and a few others.
Regardless, what a fantastic opportunity that's been placed in front of you to make a difference in the young lives of this community. You know, growing up as a youth in Colorado Springs, Junior Achievement had a significant presence at my schools. To be honest, some of the most enjoyable days at school were when Junior Achievement came in and empowered us to be passionate about our success as well as hand out a lot of cool Junior Achievement swag. (I think I still have a pen floating around my office somewhere.)
The organization was so fun to work with, and I especially loved when we got to take field tips and visit local businesses in our community to learn more about what they do. What a great chance you have, right here, right now, to have an impacy on kids who were just like you and me by financially supporting this great effort.
