One elementary school classroom program costs $500 to recruit, train and supply materials for a volunteer.  

Last year you helped me raise $600 for Junior Achievement, paying for an entire classroom program, plus some.  I volunteered to run the classroom program you helped pay for.

I had a lot of fun with the 4th grade students at Eagleridge Elementary School in Ferndale.  The kids had a lot of fun playing games and secretly learning about supply, demand, profits and losses.

At the end of the week, one boy asked me, "Ms. Forsman, do you do this for other grades?  Like, 5th grade?  Next year?  Please?"

My goal for this year's Bowling Classic fundraiser is to raise enough money ($500) to pay for another elementary school program.  Like, 5th grade.  Next school year.  Please. 

Update: We made it to $500!  I'm setting my new goal at $1000.  Can we fund TWO classroom programs?!
