My name is Brenton Turner and I am working with Skagit Bank to support Junior Achievement (JA) in our local area. This is a great Non-Profit that does wonderful work teaching students K-12 to learn financial literacy, entrepeneurship, and work readiness around the nation. As a volunteer with JA in our area, I've spent time with students administering these classes that JA has put together. I can say that these programs really do extend valuable, real life teachings to all grade types that they wouldn't otherwise get from standard school curriculum. It's also very fun for the students and they enjoy the activities!
As a member of our community I encourage you to support JA. If not by volunteering, then by donating on this page! Every little bit that you give is promoting growth in the children that will one day become the leaders of our future.
