As you may know,  I've been supporting Junior Achievement for a number of years now.  What a GREAT organization!  The curriculum is very age appropriate and introduces students to topics not necessarily always covered in conventional schooling or at home.  Everything from Spending, Saving and Giving to City Planning, Employment vs. Business Ownership, Global Economics, and much more is covered with simple, concise lessons and fun activities.

In the past, I've had the pleasure of teaching the Kindergarten and 3rd grade program.  This year I'll be involved at Jackson elementary teaching the 5th grade and at Prairie teaching the 2nd grade.  To this day I have children from my sons 3rd grade class bring up the things we discussed and how much they enjoyed it!!!  :)
