Team Captains

Dear JA Bowl-A-Thon Team Captains,

THANK YOU for stepping up to lead your team's participation in the JA Bowl-A-Thon! JA will inspire more than 100,000 students in metro-Denver to succeed this school year thanks to passionate individuals, like you, who take a leadership role in asking others to participate and raise money. Together, more than 50 companies will raise $750,000 to implement JA programs in 550 schools.

To set yourself and your team up for success, it's important to start early. You can get started by taking a look at the resources provided below.

You've taken on a big job, but I'm here to help!

With gratitude,

Liz Johnson

Hi [name]!

This year, I’m taking the lead to recruit members of [team name] for Junior Achievement (JA) Bowl-A-Thon, and I’d love for you to join us.

JA Bowl-A-Thon is all about coming together as a company to make sure that kids in our community are set up for success. It’s a peer-to-peer fundraiser benefiting JA-Rocky Mountain, whose programs provide financial literacy, entrepreneurship and work readiness programs to local students at no cost to schools.

My job is to organize a team of five so that we can collectively raise $750 to sponsor one JA elementary program. On [date], we’ll bowl for a couple hours at [location], turn in our donations, and have fun!

If you’d like to join us, you can register with the link below and we can work on the next steps together. Attached are some instructions in case you get stuck in the signup process.
