Once again, I am honored to be participating in the 2026 Jane-A-Thon, a fundraiser supporting Invest in Kids! This organization supports children and families through research validated programs. One of the proven programs helps first-time, low-income parents with a visiting nurse relationship that lasts for more than two years, helping families and newborns grow into a great start in life. Another program works with preschoolers, helping them with learning and social skills, as well as working with their families to help ensure success in school and in life. Donation Impact: 

$25 covers materials for 1 family such as baby sleep sacks for safe sleeping and developmentally appropriate toys.

$50 covers 1 family's breastfeeding supplies.

$100 provides nursing supplies such as baby scales, stethoscope, or blood pressure cuff.

$250 covers cost for 2 teachers and educational staff to attend 6 days of training for early childhood social-emotional program curriculum. 

$500 provides professional development to nurses to increase skills and quality of care.

$1,000 provides at-home therapy with a Mental Health Clinician and Family Support Partner to uncover sources of stress for a month so families can start the healing process.
