For the past three years I've chaired and awesome bike and bbq event to support Junior Achievement of WA. My company NuLeaf Office Solutions and other local business leaders partner to support the great work Junior Achievement of WA is doing for our K-12 kids. I'd like to invite you to come out and ride with me, play at the bbq or just donate a few dollars to help this great organization.
JA Pedal Party
Get ready for a fun filled family day at the JA Pedal Party. No matter if you are a biking enthusiast or just graduated from training wheels, you will have fun exploring the picturesque fairgrounds and scenery around Remlinger Farms. It’s more than just your average bike ride; there will be food, drinks, and an auction that will all benefit Junior Achievement of Washington.
Junior Achievement of WA is a non-profit organization whose primary goal is to help inspire and prepare young people to succeed in a global economy. With a belief in the power of partnership and collaboration, JA of WA is committed to the principles of market-based economics and entrepreneurship.
JA of WA works to recruit real world professional to volunteer in classroom environments, while coordinating and engaging their high level executive board with fundraising events and ongoing opportunities for JA. Though the JA staff and executive board does a phenomenal job of ongoing financial and volunteer engagement for JA, they are only so many. In order to branch out into a more diverse market place with a focus on technology, JAYPC (Junior Achievement Young Professional Council) was formed.
