Junior Achievement has held a very special place in my heart since I began volunteering nearly two years ago.  I've been able to spend time in the classroom with dozens of first and second graders in the Tuscaloosa area, and see their faces light up when they talk about what they want to do when they grow up.  As a JA volunteer, my long-term goal is to encourage these students keep that passion about their career as they get older, and empower them to believe that they can do anything. 

8 out of 10 Junior Achievement students agree that participation in JA reinforces the value of an education and the importance of staying in school.
More importantly, JA students are significantly more likely to believe that they will graduate from high school and college.
