We are saddened that we were unable to host our annual golf tournament this year, but we are hopeful we can still provide support to our friends at the Arc of Greater Beaumont through the Jay Bruce Golf Benefit Virtual Auction, which opens on December 1, 2020. We are thankful for the continued support from our community.
The Jay Bruce Golf Benefit was established in 2010 to help adults and children in Southeast Texas with intellectual and developmental disabilities get off the sidelines and become players in their own lives.
Serving people with IDD is a personal matter for Jay, as he has spent much of his life watching his sister Kellan struggle to find her place in the community beyond the public education system until she found the Arc of Greater Beaumont. With the Arc, Kellan flourished. She had found friends, enrichment, advocates, and a place to shine.
