My name is Jeff (Easy) Gibson.   Iam raising donations for Hoops for Hope, a fund raiser for the Hope Center in Lexington Ky. I came to the Hope Center's Men's Recovery Program in November 2014. I had been living a life in addiction for many years which finally led me to incarceration. By the grace and mercy of a loving God, I was sent to the George Privett Recovery Center. Here I was able to learn about the disease of addiction and how it affects every aspect of my life, including my family,friends and society as a whole. I have been given the spiritual tools to recover from a hopeless state of mind and body. Without this place I know Imay not be alive today.Dramatic as that sounds,I know it to be true. After completing the program in June , Iwas blessed to be able to stay on as a Peer Mentor, giving back what was so freely given to me.
