JOY International is an incredible organization based here in CO focused on bringing the JOY of freedom, healing, and empowerment to children, teens, and young adults affected by human trafficking around the world. For Julie's 40th, we're gathering our people and inviting everyone to support this needed cause by getting in on: 

1. Joining our team in Evergreen on the 13th! Bring the family, bring your friends, it's going to be a really fun and kid-friendly event. Once you join the team, you can create your own personal fundraising page, which will go towards the team goal. (Or, create your own team with your own goal and invite all your people!) 
    
2. Donating toward the ambitious team goal (double those 40s!).
    
3. Contributing an item for the silent auction to help JOY raise more funds.

WHAT YOUR DONATIONS DO:

In Uganda, you can empower education of girls and keep them from a life of trafficking -- keeping trauma from even happening. 

Not only does education reduce vulnerability to exploitation and trafficking, it also provides a pathway to end the cycle of poverty that drives trafficking. JOY International funds the education and basic care of young girls in Kasese, Uganda, offering them hope for a brighter future.

$100 covers the education and basic care of one girl for one month.

$300 covers the cost of the education and basic care for one girl for three months.

$600 covers the cost of the education and basic care for one girl in Kasese, Uganda for six months.

$1,200 covers the cost of the education and basic care for one girl in Kasese, Uganda for an entire year.

In Nepal, you can help the girls at the JOY Mukti Home who have been removed from trafficking begin their healing journey.

JOY International Mukti Home is a safe home for survivors of child trafficking, ages 8 to 18. Each girl living at the JOY International Mukti Home receives safe housing, remedial education, counseling, job training, family support, medical care, legal representation, 24-hour security, and lots of love as they navigate their journey toward healing. 

$112 covers one week of housing, education, counseling, medical care, and legal support for a survivor as she heals from trafficking.

$450 covers expenses for one young girl to receive housing and care as she heals from the trauma of being trafficked. This expense includes counseling, education, and loving, trauma-informed care.

$1,350 covers three months of our expenses for one young girl to receive housing and care as she heals from the trauma of being trafficked. This expense includes counseling, education, and loving, trauma-informed care.

$5,400 gives one year of freedom, healing, and love to a young survivor of trafficking.

$20,000 covers all expenses including housing, education, medical care, counseling, and care from loving staff for 45 young survivors of trafficking for one month.
