I've been teaching in the classroom for JA for 5 years now.  I started with a 2nd grade classroom at McGee Elmentary in Pasco, and later I taught both my sons' classes at Hawthorne Elementary and Highlands Middle School in Kennewick.  I try to make it fun and the kids really get into the program.  I bring in real life stuff from my own school and career experiences to illustrate the importance of life long learning and to not be afraid to try things, even if you fail.  America can use a few more entrepreneurial minds so I encourage you to either donate to our team bowl fundraiser or contact JA to see how you too can volunteer.
