As I made my way through elementary school, I distinctly remember Junior Achievement visiting my classrooms. They taught me things that I wouldn't have been taught in the regular curriculum, things like how assembly lines work, the importance of saving, how money and the economy works, how to grow my money, and simpler things like how to write a check.

Looking back, I think economics, money management, career building, entrepreneurship, work readiness, and financial literacy should be a part of the regular curriculum but until that time, Junior Achievement fills that important role.

Please help me give back to my hometown community and support a national program that helps develop and inspire our future!
