WHERE DO I CHECK IN?

In the lobby outside the ballroom on the 3rd floor of Hotel 1928. To expedite your check-in process, please make sure to download the Givi app from the Apple App Store or Google Play Store and follow THESE INSTRUCTIONS before you arrive.

WHEN AND HOW CAN I BID ON AUCTION ITEMS?

The silent auction opens for bidding on Wednesday, April 17 and continues until 8:00 PM on Saturday, April 20. The live auction items will be available for preview, as well. All bidding and payment is digital through the Givi App which you can download from the Apple App Store or Google Play Store. A bidder paddle will be issued to you at check-in to bid on items in the live auction.

CAN I STILL BID ON ITEMS EVEN IF I DON'T ATTEND?

Yes! Virtual Bidders can participate in the silent auction and tuition drawing, but you must be present for the live Auction and heads or tails prize game. You can register at no cost as a Virtual Bidder HERE.

I WON AN AUCTION ITEM - HOW DO I CLAIM IT?

Items can be claimed at check-out beginning at 8:45 PM. Virtual bidders who win a silent auction item will be contacted after the event to coordinate item pickup.

WHEN IS THE TUITION DRAWING?

The winner of the Tuition Drawing will be announced at the end of the evening at the Jubilee. You can purchase tickets for the tuition drawing HERE.

WHAT IS HEADS OR TAILS?

A fun game with a big prize! Buy 1 bead to play the game or 5 beads to get additional chances to play. You can purchase beads from the merchants in the ballroom (look for the helium balloon!) or through the online auction catalog in Givi App.

WHAT IS THE ATTIRE?

In celebration of our 20th Anniversary, this is a "roaring '20s" themed event - so get ready to don your best flapper or other festive 1920s era attire! And, yes, people will really dress up!

WHAT'S THE SCHEDULE?

Doors open at 6:15 PM for check-in. Enjoy the sounds of the Waco Early Jazz Quartet and visit the silent auction before dinner is served at 7:15 PM, followed by the live auction and program. 

WHERE IS THE EVENT & WHERE SHOULD I PARK?

Hotel 1928 is located at 701 Washington Avenue, Waco, TX 76701. The event will take place in the Ballroom which is located on the 3rd floor. Valet parking is available at the hotel entrance located on 7th Street for $10 per vehicle.
