Our largest annual fundraiser is coming up February 12th. The money raised helps us continue to provide free services to child and adult survivors of sexual abuse and sexual assault. This year, our funding sources including grants have been greatly reduced. Unfortunately, the need for our services has not. Help us to continue providing therapy, support groups, victim advocacy, forensic interviews, exams, and other services to the amazing survivors in the upstate. This February, Julie Valentine would be 31 years old. I think of her often as Valentine's Day approaches. I think of the many children spending more time than ever at home right now. Some of those children are in unsafe homes without the normal protections of daily contact with school teachers or daycare staff. Julie Valentine's spirit remains. She continues to inspire the entire community in our dedication to children who have experienced abuse and to ensure we consider those who may need our help but are not yet known to us.
