Why Junior Achievement?

My past experience in economic development has made me realize the importance of preparing our workforce at an early age for the challenges of a global economy.  Core economic values and knowledge taught at an early age is most effective in creating economic opportunity and ability for our future workforce.  I support Junior Achievement because it prepares our youth for the knowledge and skills they need to make smart economic decisions and provide a value add to the nation's economy.

Through your donation, the statistics below can begin to change in our community:

•20% of U.S. students will not complete high school on time and earn a diploma

•49% of U.S. employers recognize that talent shortages impact their ability to serve clients and customers

•36% of Americans say that they have, at some point in their lives, felt their financial situation was out of control.
