This year, we’re walking for something bigger than ourselves. We’re walking for Cannon and for all Canadians living with DS—for their future, for opportunities, and to help build a world where people with DS are seen, valued, and respected for exactly who they are and all they can achieve.

The theme of this year’s Canadian Down Syndrome Walk is “Let’s move forwards, not backwards.” That’s what we want for Cannon and for everyone with Down syndrome: progress, inclusion, accessibility, and a society that embraces differences as strengths.

Cannon isn’t defined by his diagnosis. He is capable, determined and joyfully charging forward. Every day, he shows us that his potential has no limits!
