Meet Lucy

Born in 2023, Lucy has been surprising us since day one. Diagnosed with Trisomy 21, she came into this world with a spirit that’s nothing short of extraordinary. At just four months old, Lucy underwent open heart surgery to repair an AVSD (atrioventricular septal defect). Her strength through it all was nothing less than inspiring — fearless even then.

Now, Lucy continues to grow and thrive, showing us that her extra chromosome is just one part of her beautiful, complex self. She’s adventurous, social, and bursting with affection. Whether she’s exploring new places, making new friends, or sharing her radiant smile, Lucy reminds us to embrace life with open arms and a brave heart.

As her parents, we — Emma and Rob — are constantly in awe of her determination, curiosity, and joy. Every single day, Lucy surprises us. She learns, she grows, and she teaches us more than we ever imagined
