My friend, Duncan, is an ambassador for the Canadian Down Syndrome Society and he and his family have organized a walk to raise awareness and funds for families and folks with Down Syndrome who need some support or assistance.

I grew up with Dunc's mom, Kim, as a neighbour, a friend and a little sister. Duncan has his mom's cheerful energy, her drive and determination to keep going and work hard towards a goal no matter how challenging it is, her openness to lead with kindness and meet new friends in any room she walks into, and her infectious sense of humour. Duncan is the perfect ambassador and we can't wait to join him and his family for this special event. 

The Coldwater Down Syndrome Walk will take place on June 14th, 2025 from 10:00am - 12:00 noon.
