Our family is participating in a charity walk to support the Canadian Down Syndrome Society which is a cause that’s deeply personal to us. When our daughter Elizabeth was born and diagnosed with Down syndrome, the Canadian Down Syndrome Society provided us with incredible resources and support that helped guide us through those early days. We’re walking to give back and to help ensure other families receive the same life-changing support we did. All proceeds from the walk go directly to programs that empower people with Down syndrome across Canada.
