Arthur is two years old. He loves reading, music, family and animals. He also happens to have Down syndrome. Arthur has proven himself to be a fighter; conquering open heart surgery at a mere four months of age. He is also determined to challenge any stereotypes or limitations that may be placed on him because of his diagnosis; he has been crushing developmental milestones! Arthur has taught those who are lucky enough to know him that love knows no limits. We all continue to learn and grow thanks to him, and we truly are the lucky ones!

The Canadian Down Syndrome Society was instrumental in helping us navigate Arthur's prenatal diagnosis. They are great advocates for the Down syndrome community. Their initiatives help thousands of other Canadians like Arthur. We are excited to be walk ambassadors and help spread the word on the upcoming event for the third year in a row!

Event Details

Arthur's Allies will be having a bring-your-own-picnic in collaboration with Children's Centre Foundation Thunder Bay! Join them on June 14th from 2-4 pm at the chalet in Centennial Park. There will be lawn games, bubbles, snacks, and drinks. Kids can enjoy the nearby playground and farm!
