Determined to end Veteran suicide, K9s For Warriors provides highly-trained Service Dogs to military veterans suffering from PTSD, traumatic brain injury and/or military sexual trauma. With the majority of dogs being rescues, this innovative program allows the K9/Warrior team to build an unwavering bond that facilitates their collective healing and recovery.

As a Navy veteran, I’ve seen firsthand the silent battles that follow so many of us home -- friends struggling with PTSD who have walked through some of the darkest chapters of their lives. I’ve also witnessed the incredible transformation that happens when a warrior is paired with a loyal K9 partner—lives rebuilt, strength restored, hope returned.
As a first-time author, I wanted my book to do more than tell a story—I wanted it to make a difference. That’s why I’m choosing to donate proceeds from my launch to K9s For Warriors, to help give back to the brothers and sisters who stood beside me, and to support the companionship that continues to save lives long after service ends.
