I'm raising money for Kennedy's Disease Association!
I’m thrilled to be participating in the 100 Step Challenge, a fundraiser supporting Kennedy's Disease Association! I’m passionate about the cause and need your help! Every donation—big or small—helps me reach my fundraising goal and directly impacts our ability to provide support services and find a treatment or cure.
As some of you know, I have Kennedy's Disease (KD). KD is a long-term degenerative neuro-muscular disease caused by a gene mutation. The disease affects principally males, usually presenting in a noticeable way in late middle age. KD doesn’t kill you, but it does make activities of daily living more and more difficult as you get older. I like to describe it as my physical age being about ten years older than my biological age. I’m very lucky, able to lead a fairly normal life so far. More about Kennedy’s Disease can be found here.
We've had some great news of late. AnnJi Pharmaceuticals just released results of their latest Phase1/2a trial for AJ201. These results, along with an ongoing Phase 2 trial at Nido Biosciences for Nido-361, demonstrate that we are entering the next phase of discovering a treatment or cure for Kennedy's Disease.
Here's how you can help:
Donate: Contribute whatever you can. No amount is too small!
Spread the Word: Share my fundraising page with your friends, family, and social networks. Let’s spread awareness so we can raise more!
Thank you for standing by me in this effort. Your support means the world to me!
