Event Description
Benefiting: The Greater Chicago Food Depository
Where: Grant Park, Chicago
When: June 9, 2018
Help kick out hunger in Cook County by participating in the 2018 Kicks for Community charitable kickball tournament. This one-day event features more than 30 teams all playing for a great cause in our community.
Space is limited so register your team today.
Cost for a team of 12 players is $1,700 with a $250 deposit due at registration. Additional players beyond the 12 person limit will cost $50 each. There are no male:female ratio requirements for a team.
Included with team registration:
- Minimum of three games
- Team t-shirts
- Food and beverages all day
- Access to complimentary beer garden (ages 21+)
- Access to after party
Deadline to Register a Team is May 23!
Now in our 14th year, this annual tournament has raised more than $1.5 million for local charitable causes.
The Greater Chicago Food Depository, Chicago’s food bank, is a nonprofit food distribution and training center providing food for hungry people while striving to end hunger in our community.

After Party:
All spectators and kickball participants are invited to attend the Kicks for Community after party at Old Crow Smokehouse River North: 149 W. Kinzie St.
Party starts at 4:30 p.m. and includes two drink tickets.
Home Run Derby:
Each team may nominate a player to participate in our annual Home Run Derby. Email the name of your team participant to KicksforCommunity@mytmc.com.
Top Fundraisers:
Individuals who raise the most donations for the Greater Chicago Food Depository will be elibigle for special prizes and perks at Kicks for Community.
- Prizes including:
- Chicago Bulls ticket package: 4 tickets, autographed ball, and passes to watch pregame warmups.
General Admission Tickets
Not playing on a kickball team, but still want to participate in a fun event that supports a great cause? We have spectator passes available for $50 each.
