Next March, I'm returning to Kilimanjaro for my second climb, as many of you know that in 2020, I had the opportunity to donate a kidney, and it's been one of the most MEANINGFUL experiences of my life. Now, I want to share with all of you that kidney donation doesn't hold us back from pursuing our dreams. Life after donation has been full of adventure! I'm raising $3,000 for Kidney Donor Athletes—a wonderful organization that supports and celebrates kidney donors who continue living active, fulfilling lives. Right now, over 90,000 Americans are waiting for a kidney transplant. Many people might hesitate to donate because they wonder about life afterward. Through sharing stories of active donors, we can help others see that donation opens doors rather than closing them.
