Week 4–Outreach of AyE in Carmen Bajo

• That the community of Carmen Bajo would be blessed by the existence and efforts of AyE

  • Jeremiah 29:7 Seek the welfare of the city where I have sent you into exile, and pray to the Lord on its behalf; for in its welfare you will have welfare.

• That AyE would represent the Lord well by unity and service and others ahead of self

  • 2 Cor 4:15 For all things are for your sakes, so that the grace which is spreading to more and more people may cause the giving of thanks to abound to the glory of God.

• That AyE would be a safe haven for those in turmoil

  • Psalms 91:9 For you have made the Lord, my refuge, even the Most High, your dwelling place. 

Week 1–Staff and Faculty

• For the teachers to have joy in their work and patience as they lead

  • Psalms 32:11 Be glad in the Lord and rejoice, you righteous ones; And shout for joy, all you who are upright in heart

• Unity for all within the walls of AyE

  • 1 Thess 5:11 Therefore encourage one another and build one another up, just as you are doing

• That they might be the light of Jesus for the students

  • Psalms 34:11 Come, you children, listen to me; I will teach you the fear of the Lord.

• Protection for them and their families

  • Proverbs 18:10 The name of the Lord is a strong tower; The righteous runs into it and is safe.

• For the Zola family (Pancho and Pitty)--For endurance, wisdom, continued obedience as they lead the school and their family

  • Psalms 1:2-3 But his delight is in the law of the Lord, and in His law he meditates day and night.  He will be like a tree firmly planted by streams of water, which yields its fruit in its season and its leaf does not wither; and in whatever he does, he prospers.

Week 2–Students and their families

• That the gospel would transform students’ lives, families, and communities

  • 2 Cor 5:17 Therefore if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creature; the old things passed away; behold, new things have come.

• For protection from the outside, worldly influences

  • Psalms 141:8 For my eyes are toward You, O God, the Lord; In You I take refuge; do not leave me defenseless.

  • 1 Peter 1:13 Therefore, prepare your minds for action, keep sober in spirit, fix your hope completely on the grace to be brought to you at the revelation of Jesus Christ.

• For a strong desire to walk in God’s will and to be an example to others

  • Hebrews 12:1 Therefore, since we have so great a cloud of witnesses surrounding us, let us also lay aside every encumbrance and the sin which so easily entangles us, and let us run with endurance the race that is set before us.

• Week 3–New ministry partners

• • Provision for the school by increase in monthly support

    • Philippians 4:19 And my God will supply all your needs according to His riches in glory in Christ Jesus

  • That God would call more hearts and volunteers to AyE and LHF

    • Zephaniah 3:9 For then I will give to the peoples purified lips, that all of them may call on the name of the Lord, to serve Him shoulder to shoulder.

  • An expansion of US donor base outside of (primarily) Atlanta

    • Acts 4:32 And the congregation of those who believed were of one heart and soul; and not one of them claimed anything belonging to him was his own but all things were common property to them
