Marco Mazzoni is a world renowned artist based in Milan, Italy who served as the Special Guest Juror for Baton Rouge Gallery's Surreal Salon 15 (January 2023). He is best known for his vibrant and dramatic colored pencil drawings. Mazzoni's work holds a strong interest in flora and fauna, often depicting subjects surrounded by colorful plants, birds, and more. His works have been seen in galleries across Europe and North America as well as publications like The New Yorker, Juxtapoz Magazine, Hi Fructose Magazine, Les Arts Dessines, and Arte Mondadori.

Mazzoni has personally put this work, "Regret," up for bid with 100% of the proceeds going to support Baton Rouge Gallery's year-round exhibitions and programming that allow for connection points between artists and audiences in Louisiana's capital area.
