Join Us for the 2025 Big Island AIDS Walk!
Walk. Remember. Support.
Kumukahi Health + Wellness invites you to be part of the Big Island AIDS Walk, a powerful community event dedicated to raising awareness, reducing stigma, and supporting those affected by HIV/AIDS. Every step we take together strengthens the services and care available to those in need across Hawaii Island.
Why It Matters
- HIV/AIDS Still Affects Our Community While progress has been made in HIV prevention nationwide, with a 12% decline in estimated HIV infections from 2018 to 2022, continued efforts are essential to sustain this momentum.
- Every Dollar Makes a Difference
Funds raised during the Big Island AIDS Walk directly support programs that provide medical care, counseling, and preventive education to individuals living with HIV/AIDS. These services are indispensable in ensuring that affected individuals receive the care they need to lead healthy lives. - Community Engagement & Awareness
The walk fosters a sense of community and solidarity, bringing together individuals from all walks of life to combat stigma and discrimination associated with HIV/AIDS. By participating, community members demonstrate their commitment to inclusivity and support for their neighbors.
Lace up your shoes, invite your friends, and walk with us to support health, hope, and healing for our community.
Together, we make a difference!
