Can I buy second-hand electronics for a child’s wish list? Yes. Certified refurbished electronics are welcome as long as they’re tested and working, and they often come with a warranty. If you have a gently used device of your own, like a cell phone, you can donate it to Kids’ Voice for our IT team to refurbish and give to a child later. It won’t be tied to a specific wish list, but it will still be put to good use.
I just completed my checkout and I’m ready to start shopping! When will I receive the full wish list details? After you complete checkout, you’ll receive the full wish list(s) by email within one business day (Monday–Friday). This email will include all item details, sizes, and delivery instructions. Please note this is a manual process, and we’ll get your wish list(s) to you as quickly as possible.
What if I can’t find an exact item from the wish list? Feel free to choose something similar, or include a gift card so the child can pick it out later. For items like clothing or shoes, we recommend including a gift receipt in case an exchange is needed.
When and where do I drop off gifts? Drop off your gifts on Saturday, December 6 from 9 a.m. – 5 p.m. at FlexPAC (6075 Lakeside Blvd., Indianapolis, IN 46278). If you cannot make this date, you may drop off at the Kids' Voice office Monday, December 8 – Thursday, December 11, 10 a.m. – 5 p.m. For alternate hours, email development@kidsvoicein.org
Do the gifts need to be wrapped? We ask that gifts remain unwrapped, but you’re welcome to include wrapping paper, gift bags, or tissue paper so caregivers can wrap them.
I want to help, but don’t have time to shop. Can I still contribute? Yes! You can donate directly to our Holiday Gift Drive fund. Your financial donation helps us purchase items from wish lists and stock our Youth Enrichment Closet, where staff can select gifts for children whose wish lists go unmatched or who enter care after our deadline.
