Thank you for visiting my fundraising page! My name is Charlize, I am 11 years old and I love interacting with animals at the San Antonio Zoo! 

My goal is to get my peers as excited about animal conservation as I am by sharing animal facts. 

My favorite interaction is with the giraffes because I am very tall and so are they!

Join me in supporting San Antonio Zoo and its world-class animal care, education programs for all ages, and conservation initiatives locally and around the world.

Did you know that Flamingos are filter feeders? They use their beaks to find food in water.

The Lorikeets are a lot of fun to visit. They love to jump right on you and take the nectar from the cup. I've had as many as FIVE on me at once!

This is my first time petting a Kangaroo. This little guy was so soft!

Feeding the Giraffes is my favorite of the interactive experiences. Alan will take food and stick his tongue back out right away, ready for more!

This is me in the Butterfly Rainforest! There were so many butterflies of all different colors and species flitting around. Butterflies have very long tongues that they curl in when they are not using them. There's even a sloth in the back of the exhibit!
