We've reached our fundraising goal for the Oakwood Group Home and the residents will soon be receiving their large monitor!  Thank you for your generous donations.  Please consider helping our friends at other homes/programs receive their technology upgrades.

The five residents of the Oakwood Group Home enjoy participating in virtual activities as a group.  Their favorite activities include Art Expression offered by The Arc’s Bridges Day Program and the weekly Mystery Movie program where they watch a short movie and discuss what they liked and what they’ve experienced in their lives.  They most recently enjoyed a Halloween themed Mystery Movie where they watched a recorded Halloween performance from Disneyland in California.

The Oakwood Group Home is currently equipped with a communal desktop computer, webcam, and small screen.  To better participate, view, and enjoy their virtual services, the residents would like to upgrade their current set up with the addition of a large monitor.
