We've reached our fundraising goal for the Roseland Group Home and the residents will soon be receiving their iPad and large monitor!  Thank you for your generous donations.  Please consider helping our friends at other homes/programs receive their technology upgrades.

The five residents of the Roseland Group Home enjoy participating in virtual activities as a group and individually.  Their favorite group activities include the virtual spelling bee offered by The Arc’s Opportunity Zone Day Program and seasonally-themed, cultural offerings like “Diwali Day” and “I am Thankful For…”. 

One resident is especially interested in refining her crafting skills with more in depth crafting mobile apps and DIY tutorials.  She remains close with her family and wants to be able to virtually visit with them more often.

The Roseland Group Home is currently equipped with a communal desktop computer, webcam, and small screen.  To better participate, view, and enjoy their virtual group services, the residents would like to upgrade their current set up with a large monitor.  The addition of an iPad would allow its craftiest resident to pursue her individual interests and hobbies and “visit” with family and friends.
