The six residents of the Linden Supervised Apartments enjoy participating in virtual activities as one large group, with their respective roommates in small groups, and individually. Their favorite activities include participating in virtual scavenger hunts during game day and taking virtual trips during “Cool Worldly Adventures” where they recently learned about the rich Hawaiian culture.
The two Linden Supervised Apartments are currently equipped with Chromebooks. To better participate, view, and enjoy their virtual services as one large group, the residents would like to upgrade their set up with webcams and large monitors. By adding a third Chromebook, residents can simultaneously pursue interests in smaller groups
A number of the residents are also on the Autism spectrum and would benefit from the addition of two iPads. Utilizing these devices, these residents can take advantage of communication apps and other augmentative and alternative communication tools.
